What can I do about getting arrested for cashing a sweepstakes winning check 3 years later?

I had a sweepstakes winning check. I took it to a check cashing store. They had the check for almost 30 days. After 30 days I went into the check cashing store. The store owner was on the phone with the bank that the check was from. I cashed the check 3 years later and I'm put into jail for that check being cashed.
