QUESTION

What can I do if a person has put false statements about me on Facebook?

Asked on Apr 30th, 2014 on Litigation - California
More details to this question:
Some things said are true but the worst of them are completely false. Stating I am a manager at AGA. Using this to make it look like they know all about me. They I have had evictions against me though I have never even seen an eviction. Also then I have money judgments against me. Once again have never had anything to do with anything like that. This is all because they have repeatedly lied about people and called for people to kill all police officers and I have spoken out against this. I don't want to sue just get these false accusations off.

If you can identify them, sue them for harassment, and for defaming you.

You can sue for slander. How to get stuff off the Internet is another matter. I think stuff place on the internet may be there permanently. You need to find a nerdy lawyer who knows about such things.
