Threaten how? physical harm? death? bad grades? etc... I suggest you contact the school administration immediately.

Find out what happened and talk to the people involved, that's what you can do. Actually talk and listen, in person, without accusations, with an open mind and an understanding that everyone has his own point of view. Trying to stir up a legal hassle will be counter-productive.
