Unfortunately, you have no legal remedy. There are no wrongful discharges in GA. For more info, GOOGLE this: Georgia, employment at will. You may be eligible for unemployment compensation, but you will need an attorney to win. Do not go to a hearing without an experienced attorney.

Find a new job. Whether they can prove it or not, you are not going to work there in the future because in most states you can be terminated for any or no reason. Unless the termination was because you are a member of a protected class, you don't have a case.

It depends, if you are an at will employee, that is you could quit and you are not subject to an employment agreement or union collective bargaining agreement, then it is always possible that your employer can quit you. Perhaps the more salient question is whether or not you will be able to qualify for unemployment compensation. If your company seeks to disqualify you they will have to provide proof that your termination was justified. You would be wise to consult with an attorney if that becomes an issue.

I suggest that you contact an experienced employment law attorney for a face-to-face consultation and give him/her all of the facts surrounding your situation. (S)he would then be in a better position to analyze your case and advise you of your options.
