QUESTION

What can I do to have my license back?

Asked on Apr 10th, 2014 on Litigation - Florida
More details to this question:
I got a DUI in 2005. I took my class and was paying my fine. I since moved out of state and did not pay all of the fine. I have held a Florida driver's license for over 10 years and I did have a license in Massachusetts as well. I was driving in MA and got pulled over. I was told my MA license was revoked. Thinking it was the DUI, I called California and I not only do I have a bench warrant, my license is revoked due to a child support issue and as fair as they say that is all and has nothing to do with a DUI. I am so confused.

You either need to pay off the child support in full or make arrangements with the state to pay the support over time. Do not make the arrangements through your ex. That may not be accepted by the state and will probably only lead to delays.

Your question is very confusing. Which state do you have a license. You can only have a license in one state. Get an attorney to deal with your warrant and child support issues.

Your question is confusing. You cannot drive until you get it all cleared up. It looks like you need an attorney in each of the states you mentioned. This is what happens to people when they ignore court fines and child support.
