As a massage therapist I worked at a spa and one client complaint that she was touched inappropriately Spa management call the police and they found no evidence and left Now she is suing the spa’s deep pockets and myself I did not touch her But she is after money I had to hire a lawyer and now we are in the discovery process that goes back and forth with only bs Bottom line: no evidence, zero So my question is what happens here how can someone sue based on what she says and what are the scenarios Can I sue her back for lying Funny thing is that I massaged her before at the same place and she requested my services I have no prior incident there or anywhere 25 years career I understand that 97% of the civil lawsuits end up in settlement I have no money Spa has insurance So do I have to wait till spa settles or can this case be dismissed for lack of evidence Thanks
