What do I do? Besides never buy a car from someone I know again?

More details to this question:
Back in may after my car was totaled by a drunk driver my friends aunt sold me her car. I received the title and bill of sale completely signed over and ready to go. However when I went to register the car 4 days later I found out she had called the title in lost or stolen so I couldn't register the vehicle in my name. They told me either have her sign over the new title or take her to court so I spoke to her and she was supposed to sign it over in July after bribing her with more money which I really don't have to begin with. Turns out she took the new title and had tried to resell it then ripping it up when I asked for it. It gets worse I recently got pulled over with my boyfriend and it was impounded. Though I had the money she went got the car and now won't give it back. The cops said small claims court but the courts said they don't have the forms and couldn't advise on how to legally get this car put in my name. I'm extremely frustrated at this point and need help.

You need to commence a lawsuit to to recover either the car or obtain a refund of the amount you have paid. Unfortunately, this forum can't supply you with forms. You must either deal with the court clerk, go to a law library for forms, or get an attorney.
