What is the minimum money amount that can be sued over in small claims court?

I used to live in an apartment with my boyfriend. He broke up with me and things went badly from there. I obtained a 50b against him and he was forced to move out on Dec 18th. The 50b was dismissed when we went to court. There were 2 other residents of the apartment so we three split the bills evenly that month. I moved out of the apartment on January 25th and my ex boyfriend took back up residence there with the other two. My ex boyfriend is currently threatening to take me to small claims court if I do not pay the portion of bills from January. The amount adds up to just under $80.
