Long story short bought a bob cat sold a bob cat. The guy I sold it to lost bob cat because it was stolen police impounded it 5 years later he wants his 10k back and filed civil suite. I still have the bill of sale from the guy I got the bob cat from. And he also has a bill of sale from the guy he got it from.

six yeras on a written contract though I'm not sure a bill of sale is considered a contract - may be 4 years for an oral contract - need more info.
