QUESTION

What legal action can I take?

Asked on Sep 14th, 2013 on Litigation - Washington
More details to this question:
My roommate who does drugs, apparently started a new drug maybe speed or something, and has been unstable. He went psycho one day and harassed verbally My family, Girlfriend, and I. The apt complex could not do anything about it even though when I talked to the neighbors about the noise complaints they were not happy about it. Now He came into my room or his supposed grandmother and unplugged my computer while its running. Before any of this happened I had police come check out the situation, They saw how unstable he was but since he was not threatening anyone They were unable to do anything about it. So we left for a few days, I leave my webcam on to record, I got all the video but the video is so long that I'm having issues fast forwarding through 60 hrs of time. Now The day we returned he had my computer unplugged in every way. He did not have permission to enter my room, or touch any of my things. After everything that I have been through is there any legal action I can take against him? There is a lot more to it, More than I can type out, Thank you.

Whose name is on the lease? If it is just you then evict him. You may on the other hand want to move.

Try and get out of your lease with the apartment. It may cost you a little bit of money, but in the long run it will be worth it.
