What type of lawyer do I need?

More details to this question:
Trying to sell a house my mother willed to me and my siblings. Past lien needs to be cleared off the title. Needs to be cleared by a judge-what type of lawyer would be best to handle this?

You can call any general practice type of attorney. Depending on the type of lien, it may have expired if not renewed, many federal tax liens expire.   If it is a docketed judgement, you should start by contacting the lawyer that got the judgment.  If you pay off the lien, you will get a warrant of satisfaction and it will not have to go to court or in front of a judge.
