QUESTION

What would happen, if I blocked a person's calls and text messages?

More details to this question:
I blocked everything from this person. The blocks show when and what time he called and when he text, but not exactly what is said in the text.

What are you hoping happens? I am assuming you don't want to see their texts phone calls and you get what you asked for.

Most of the time you would be within your rights to block such calls. But there may be facts, not yet disclosed, which might make your doing so a wrong.

You can block anyone any time, especially if they are harassing you.

You have the right to block calls from anyone, and the same applies to text messages. If you perceive the calls and text messages as harassment, threatening, or a form of stalking, consider reporting the same to the local police department and/or go down to the local District Court and tell the court clerk that you want to file an anti-harrassment charge against the person and/or a obtain a no-contact order from the court (you don't need an attorney to fill out the paper work for you).
