Who is responsible for the damage to my car?

More details to this question:
An aquantaince offered to work on my classic car at his personal (not a business) garage on his property. He drove the car off his property onto a public road without my authorization and damaged the car. Who is repsonsible for the damages done to my car?

This is a bailment case. Generally, the repair person is responsible if they acted negligently.
