Recently it came to my attention that someone had somehow got ahold of my debit card number and used it to order food from a computer. They did, however go and pick the food up. However, both Wing Stop and Chik-Fil-A didn't ask the person to see the card, which allowed the charges to go through on my debit card. I have been stressing over losing all of that money, even though I will get it back, but I feel like it caused me undue stress because if they would have asked for the card and made sure they were who they are then my stress level wouldn't be so bad it causes panic attacks. Who should/would I hire for something like this? I believe it should be policy to make sure people aren't losing others cards fraudulently.
