Probably not. Accepting a plea means you are pleading to something. What is it the prosecutor is asking you to plead to?

If you accept a plea, you are pleading guilty to something and will have a criminal record based upon you plea. If you have not done so already, hire an attorney to represent you.

If the plea bargain you are entering means that you are getting convicted of a misdemeanor or felony, then no. In certain circumstances immunity can be offered where the prosecutor will not move forward with prosecution in exchange for information or testimony. That does not sound like it is the case here. You need a criminal defense attorney to defend you. Don't let the D.A. talk you into something that you don't understand.

No, not based on what you state. It sounds more like you get a reduced charge and reduced punishment in exchange for ratting out your friend.

If you plead to anything and part of the deal is that it does not go on your record then the answer is yes. Otherwise if you plead to anything then that is on your record.

Absolutely not. If you take a plea deal it will show that you were sentenced on this case. If you are adjudicated guilty then your record will show you were convicted. Taking a plea does NOT remove this from your record. Even if the charges were dropped they would still show on your record.
