QUESTION

Would I have a chance at winning in small claims court?

Asked on Oct 08th, 2016 on Civil Litigation - Wisconsin
More details to this question:
i had a vehicle in my name. my kids dads brother always used it... (i always said no but even tho it was in my name my kids dads the one who used it and was his) he got pulled over and i had gotten tickets for driving with no insurance, driving and unregistered vehicle and allowing someone with a revoked license to drive it. i wasnt driving and got the two tickets for driving and im almost positive his brother didnt. (he also personally knew the cop) i also didnt know his license were suspended. i always said he wasnt allowed to drive it but as i stated i looked at it more as my kids dads truck than mine. i feel like he drove it he should pay the tickets when it had nothing to do with me and i wasnt even there when he got pulled over. and then i didnt know his licenses were revoked. he said tickets are in my name so he doesnt care and it doesnt matter to him. (licenses stil revoked and he is still driving other cars) would i win taking him to court and get him to pay tickets?

It is your home too, and absent a court order that requires you to be out of the home, you have every right to be in your own home; 'y only word of caution is that if you move back, be mindful of your wife trying to provoke you in such a way that she could call the police and allege that you may have engaged in domestic violence.
