I was arrested by the Davenport Police on a charge that I hit my wife. my wife said I hit her more than 20 days before she called the police. the state has already dropped the case because it saw it was a lie. I was arrested, I lost my job because of this unfounded prison. can i sue the davenpot police for what she did?

No. This is subject to soverign immunity. This is family law issue now, presumably divorce, so you need to hire a lawyer to address that ASAP.
