More details to this question:
Two years ago I was pregnant with my son and I had pre ecclamsia, in which I had to deliver early they decided to induce me and they later found out that I wouldn't dilate past 3cm. They seen that my blood pressure was extremely high, my amniotic fluid was low and still wanted to see if I would dilate to have a natural birth. It wasn't until I had a seizure that they decided to give me a cesarean section. While doing the c section the head dr let a student dr. assist him and do the closing of my staples. This procedure was around 10:16 am, I noticed discomfort later on that night so I called the nurse she was saying its normal, it was my first birth so I believed her she wrapped me with a gauze like cloth. An hour later I started feeling a burning sensation I lifted the blanket up and found that I was laying in a pool of my own blood. the nurse called the dr and she came in and seen what happened she cursed and said who did this to you and began pulling the staples out w no meds.

There are equitable exceptions to a statute of limitations defense, but at face value it doesn't sound like they will help you since it was apparent at the outset that the doctor who performed the staple procedure did something wrong.  Click here for more information about me.
