I had severe back pain the 1st of Jan. and went to a physicians assistant cause I couldn't see my regular doctor. she gave me pain meds and did a x-ray which showed nothing. The pain got worse and seen a doctor this time about a week later ( still couldn't get in to my family doctor). She prescribe 30 mg.oxycodone and strong muscle relaxer and ordered a MRI which showed something so she ordered another MRI of a different area at which time I couldn't lay on my back for it and they said I needed stronger pain meds.i called the doctor and left a message to which I got no reply and I asked the MRI people about putting me under anithesia for it which they replied it was up to the anthesiaologist which I kept calling both with no help and no return calls from the doctor. Finally I called on the 28th of feb. and said I had to see my family doctor now. once he seen my back he sent me to the ER which by that time turned out to be staf infection which almost cost memylife and a major back surg.
I'm not sure what you are saying the doctor lied about, but for any medical malpractice case you will need a medical expert who can verify that the health care professionals did not meet the standard of care. It sounds like their delay in diagnosing you could have caused additional problems, but we don't know for sure what the reasonable thing for them to have done would be without an expert.
