QUESTION

Can i sue for not recieving abnormal results?

Asked on Feb 02nd, 2016 on Medical Malpractice - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
I had blood drawn in the beginning of 2014, was never notified of abnormal test results until January 2015 when I began to complain of symptoms. My PSA were very high in both 2014, and 2015. In February 2015 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer and it have passed to some of my bones. This could have been treated in 2014, if I was told ahead of time about my abnormal PSA levels.

Update Your Profile
Possibly.  We would need to look at your medical recods to what the test result was and what other information was available that might shed light on your condition at that time.  The key question that we will need to answer is whether your progonosis or cancer staging changed as a result of the delay.  It we can prove that it did change or that the delay increased your risk of developing stage IV cancer, then I believe that you will have a case.
