More details to this question:
my friend took her child to the hospital.her baby is only 6 mnths old,she only had a fever of 102.she was tested all her vitals were stable.the doctors insisted on a urine sample with a cather..the nurse admitted that she had no idea how to put a cathater in the baby to begin with, but was going to try.she failed stuck the whole cathater in the baby and she began to bleed.another nurse came in tried it n the baby bleed more,.so for discomfort and because the baby was hysterical and very uncomfortable, the female nurse didnt administer the baby the tylenol in the cheek but tried to make her drink it straight down while she was crying..instead of waiting for discharge papers she storms out with her baby and goes home.next morning she takes her baby and they said there was no need to put a cathater into the baby.is there anything wrong with that.and if so how should it be handeled.

Assuming that no permanent damage was done to the child, you probably do not have a financially viaable medical malpractice case. Whether you should complain to the hospital is another question. Go on the internet and find out the name and telephone number of the patient advocate and call them to file a complaint.
