QUESTION

Do I have a case

Asked on May 31st, 2016 on Medical Malpractice - Tennessee
More details to this question:
I had an IUD that was misplaced in my uterus back in March 2009, in which I had removed a few days later at the ER due to chronic pain; however, I learned from a new doctor two weeks ago that it is still there or broke off from having a sonohystergram. I even had a tubal litgation in jan 2010. As a result, I have to have a hysterectomy on June 29th! I now have scaring, 3 tumors and from the IUD imbedded in my uterine wall, the uterus may be adhered to my bladder or intestines and will need to be cut away. I started having histamine intolerance problems in 2009 and 2010. I've had 7 years of chronic health issues with chronic Angioedma, anaphylaxis, etc but I'm not allergic to anything and tons of medical testing such as bone marrow and biopsy, scopes, octreotides, etc that proves I have no clear explanation of why I've been having the chronic health issues. I need advice please.

You may have a medical malpractice claim if the doctor who found the broken off IUD is willing to testify that it has been inside of you since March, 2009, that it has caused the problems that you described through the years and is the reason why you are having to have a hysterectomy.
