QUESTION

do i have a case?

Asked on Sep 05th, 2016 on Medical Malpractice - Tennessee
More details to this question:
my wife and I had our first child a year ago this month and she has still not recovered from the childbirth. the obgyn we used never used the same doctor so every time we would go for an exam we would repeat the same process with different doctors and none ever actually remembered who we were or anything about our pregnancy/child. they didn't do an ultrasound of our son anytime after 20 weeks and after the birth they said they were surprised with how big our son was and if they had known they would have never attempted a natural birth. Me and my wife got over that thinking that her pain would go away and be back to normal after a couple months or so, well now it's been a year and she is still suffering from the labor. what should we do?

If I understand what you are claiming is that your child was too big to be delivered by natural child birth (which it was) and as a result of this your wife is still "suffering from labor" pain. From a legal prespective, you would have to get some expert medical testimony to back up your claim before you would have a case. I would suggest a pain managment doctor as a starting point.
