Nursing home failed to give medication she needed. Ended up in hospital due to blood clots, back to nursing home and 5 days before her release she had a stroke. Nursing home said it wasn't. She was transported to ER and found out a clot burst in different places which she ended up in hospital for two weeks and now in an nursing home. She has no speech and is impaired on her right side as well

Possibly. Much more is needed as medical malpractice cases are very complex. You need to get all medical records together and meet with an attorney. It may help to ask current cardiologist if the lack of medicine and care in nursing home led to stroke. Bottom line was it avoidable?
