QUESTION

Do I have a case?

Asked on Jan 04th, 2019 on Medical Malpractice - Tennessee
More details to this question:
Had a trach put in my throat due to respiratory failure on July 30 of this year at Vanderbilt Hospital. The technicians put in an 8 which was too big for my small throat. When I was able to have it removed in Bristol the respiratory technicians had a hard time getting it out because the tendons had grown in around and being too big according to them. The one who usually removes them had to go get the technician who dealt with hard to remove trachs to remove it and even he had a hard time removing it. Now I have an unusual and hoarse voice. I don't even want to talk on the phone for my job because I am embarrassed by my voice now and I am afraid my clients will not be able to understand me as my family still has a hard time understanding me sometimes

I am sorry but medical malpractice cases are difficult to determine without an expert. Accordingly, I can not tell you if you have a case or not. You will need to consult with an attorney in your area.
