son was injured in accident taken to hospital cat scan was said to have a small bleed in brain was left to sit in ICU overnight and followup was a cat scan 12 hours later when fluid in brain was now so great brain was impacted and radical surgery performed result was brain death, surgeon said initial scan was misread and more serious then noted by doctor on call the evening before
