More details to this question:
My mother was staying in a nursing home from Jan 2014-May 2014 due to a stroke...during that time she was put on some medicine that would make her stop being responsive cause she wouldn't stop screaming and disturbing other residents. She took with another stroke over the holidays in May and they did not call me to let me know anything until that Monday which was Memorial Day...well when she got to the hospital it was too late she was brain dead and she had bed sores and was very malnutritioned and a very bad UTI!!!!! I was wondering what can I do about getting justice for my mom?

You should look for a lawyer in your state who handles nursing home malpractice cases. These cases are very different from medical malpractice cases. The standard of care is governed by federal regulations. Also, many states allow for fee shifting in these cases which changes the equation for determining whether or not a given case is financially viable.
