QUESTION

Do I have a case

Asked on May 01st, 2015 on Medical Malpractice - Florida
More details to this question:
I went to the foot doctor for an injury and he gave me an injection of cortisone to help with the inflammation. I do not remember seeing him swab my foot with alcohol before the injection. Two days later, my foot began to be in pain and swelling began. He put my on antibiotics for two weeks and every day it got worse. He finally told me to go to the hospital and they admitted me for 5 day on IV antibiotics. While in there he recommended surgery to clean out a possible abscess. I was sent home and 3 months later it still hasn't completely healed as the wound from surgery won't close up. I missed 6 weeks of work due to this injury and lost over a thousand dollars in co-pays. I do not have diabetes. A culture revealed staph infection.
