Asked on Jun 05th, 2015 on Medical Malpractice - California
More details to this question:
About 2 or so months ago I got my wisdom tooth pulled and since then I've been numb on my right side of chin and lip. One of my tooth on the right side feels loose and it hurts. I have been a physical pain since my extraction. My pain is now tolerable but I'm constantly living with pain. My mouth tingles and sometimes my right ear will start throbbing. I just want to know what I can do or better yet what should I do?

Generally speaking, trigeminal nerve injuries are considered an accepted complication of wisdom tooth extraction. To know whether your case falls under that category, however, an attorney would have to look at the medical records.  Click here for an article that discusses the three main questions I ask when deciding whether to investigate a potential medical malpractice case.
