QUESTION

Do I have a case for a lawsuit?

Asked on Oct 05th, 2017 on Medical Malpractice - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
I was diagnosed with breast cancer may 2017. Two areas of malignant calculations we're seen on mammogram. They were biopsied and found to be malignant. My mammogram from 2016 was read as normal. However, I looked at my images from last year and I believe there were calculations in the same two areas. These calculations do not appear to be present on the 2015 mammogram. Was my 2016 mammogram misinterpreted?

I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis.  You would need to have the images reviewed to see what was actually present in 2016. If the calcifications were there in 2016 and this oversight led to the advancement of your cancer and prognosis, you may have a case.
