went in for heart cath , at the end of procedure I had excruciating pain . the doc told my spouse everything looked great and said the pain I was having must be a muscle spasm . i was admitted into icu for observation . next mourning doc said I had a heart attack sometime after procedure . then another heart doc came in and said he needs to go back in and see whats going on . he ended up putting in 7 stents to repair a torn main artery . I am recovering but I am in worse health now than before the procedure and still have the pain that brought me in there in the first place .
Not inherently, as there are many complications associated with such complex surgeries. You would need to start with a written statement from a doctor that negligence occured, what it was and what the damages are. This needs to be done immediately as medical malpractice cases have very short statutes of limitation, typically only 2 years from the date of the event.
