do I have a law suit phyciatric malpractice

More details to this question:
my daughter was diagnosed with a mental illness.took her to her counsler because she had been making verbal threats to kill me.in front of 2 counslers,2 officers,and paramedics she threathened to come for me when released and stab me.she was placed on a hold per counsler.she wasn't even held the 72 hours required and was allowed to walk out the front doors of facility.no phone call,nothing to warn me along with being very aware I am all she has,two days later she stabbed me and I was taking to hospital,along with the pain,the trip to the hospital,my daughter sits in the county jail charged with first degree attempted murder,had they taken the appropriate steps this would not have happened.her counsler even stated that they had failed her by pushing her aside due to drug problems
