More details to this question:
On 12/04/18 I had surgery in my left foot and ankle. The incision on my left ankle never looked right to the doctor or his staff. I only went back and forth to the doctor to have it checked about once every 10 days for 2 and ahalf months. It got progressively worse. Finally on 2/28/19 I was sent to a wound care specialist who said it was very infected(ALMOST 3 MONTHS since initial surgery. Finally on 03/11/19 (Over 3 MONTHS since initial surgery I had surgery to address the Ankle infection. While I was in the hospital, the doctor came to my room 2 days later and I was informed that the ankle was so eaten up with infection that my left foot had to be AMPUTATED. So on that day 3/13/19 my left foot was AMPUTATED

You have a potential claim, but it would depend greatly on the content of your medical records. You need to request a copy of the records and get them to an attorney to review.
