Based on the limited information you provided, I cannot tell you if you have a malpractice case.  However, I do recommend that you get the medical records from the removal surgery and any other medical records related to the pancreatic episodes which you now suffer from, and call local attorneys in your area  who handle medical malpractice cases.  Most consultations are free.  A local attorney will be able to review the medical records and consult  your local state laws to better determine if you have a malpractice suit.  Please note that you are likely limited to a three year statute of limitations from the date of the injury/harm to pursue this matter.  Best of luck!
