DO I HAVE A MEDICAL MALPRACTICE CLAIM

MY 26 YR OLD DAUGHTER WENT IN FOR SPINAL DECOMPRESSION SURGERY ONE YR AGO WITHIN 8 MONTHS SHE BEGAN TO HAVE SOME PROBLEMS SWALLOWING FOOD NEUROSURGEON DECIDED THAT HER FORTH VENTRICLE WAS ENLARGED AND PLACED A SHUNT DAUGHTER CAME OUT OF SURGERY WITH BOTH VOCAL CORDS PARALYZED SOME FACIAL PARALYZED UNABLE TO EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING BY MOUTH CANNOT WALK. SHE IS COMPLETLY BEDRIDDEN WITH A PEG TUBE. WHATEVER HAPPENED HAD TO HAVE HAPPENED DURING SURGERY.

While any surgery contains risks, the only way to know for sure if these injuries were caused by negligence is to have another doctor who is an expert in this field evaluate your daughter and give you their opinion.  An expert opinion is the first thing that is needed in any medical malpractice case, so if you have not already done so that's a good place to start.  Once you do that then attorneys will be much more interested in talking with you about the case.
