QUESTION

Do I have a medical malpractice lawsuit?

More details to this question:
My dad lost his life 5wks ago due to having a blood clot in his leg. The MD operated on him twice (back to back) to remove the blood clot less than 24hrs apart. The MD stated he could not remove all of the blood clot for the 1st surgery, so he would have to go back in to remove the rest. Once the 2nd surgery was completed, the MD stated he did all he could. My dad complained of pain in his abdominal area, so the MD went in and did an ultrasound to see if he had blockage. Apparently, there was blockage, so the MD proceeded to do a 3rd surgery to remove the blockage. While performing the surgery the MD removed some scarred tissue that was around his intestine. My dad appeared to be doing well so to speak then his kidneys stopped functioning. The MD gave him a trial of Dialysis to jump start the kidneys and it worked. My mom was told that all of his bloodwork came back normal and he was making progress. 3days later he passed away. Do I have a malpractice case?
