Do I have grounds for a medical malpractice lawsuit?

I was not completely under anesthesia when my surgeon cut into me on the OR table. He admitted it and offered me psychological counseling.

You can probably establish a liability claim, perhaps against the surgeon or the anesthesiologist, but the real question will be whether the case is financially viable.
