More details to this question:
My mother was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. During our initial visit with the oncologist we were told of an xray taken a year ago for a separate issue. This xray showed a "spot". We were never told of this and there was no follow up by the hospital either. A report was supposedly filed but we dont know if it really was filed or what information, if any, will be given to us. Could the cancer been found last year? We dont know. Could my mothers situation be any differnt then what we are facing right now? We dont know. Please help.
