More details to this question:
March 2 2011, i received a unicompartmental left knee replacement for an on the job injury. i went back to work in May 2011 and by July 2011 i was in severe pain. my doc pulled me back out of work in November 2011 and started testing. after mri's, CT scans, bone density scans and aa second opinion at Chapel Hill, they could not pinpoint the problem. i was still in severe pain and popping percacets like candy. After fighting with workers comp about having to go back into my left knee, they agreed on the second surgery. On July 30, 2012 i had the second operation. As stated in the doctors report, the cement applied to the femur had failed. i would like to know what my options are, as i have lost wages and severe pain and suffering.

Richard, I am very sorry to hear about your situation.  I suggest that you speak with an attorney who handles personal injury claims relating to products liability and defective products.  Most firms that handle these types of claims, including my firm, offer free initial consultations.  Once an attorney has some additional informaiton, he or she will be able to give you  more insight and more complete guidance as to your next potential moves.  I wish you the best of luck going forward. -Jay Mills James J.
