I know that i have been misdiognosed with bipolar disored , when my psychiatrist started asking me all these questions such as have i had deppressive and manic episodes i told her no and alot of other questions . A couple mothes later i did some research on "my condition" and i havent had none of these symptoms. I dont know why she whould diogose me with such a condition based on my answers ,now givin that time period my life was a mess i was behving extremely bad in school and i whould get suspended alot and i also got a civil citation from witch i was caught stealing 2 packs of gum at a food store all this is only my past i have put all that behind my and have high dreams of becoming a helicopter pilot but than i find out that being diognosed with such a disorder they whould let me fly so now im worried that my whole futer is rueined because of a few bad choices and a false diognoses i whould like soe more info and if i can get rid of this diognoses in any way , thank you
Sorry, but at 16 y/o your opinion about your medical diagnosis simply doesn't matter and your parents, not you, should be addressing any such inquiries. (Unless you are Doogie Howser, of course). Equally important is that if you have a mental health condition or disorder, your perception of what is or is not proper is immediately called into question. By example, your statement that "all this was in my past and I have put it behind me now" ....at the age of 16........simply reinforces how unrealistic your viewpoint is.
