More details to this question:
An outfit sent me someone else's medical records. We then sent these records to several people thinking they belonged to our relative (we'd been waiting on them all day and when the number popped up off it went via digital fax servers). I am not sure what to do here. I feel compelled to call the person from the incorrect records to notify her of what's happened, but this is a foreign area to me. Given so many have seen her personal data, I can't help but think this is a very serious infraction. In fact, given they sent us nearly 100 pages I am wondering ... ?
