You should consult with a local medical malpractice attorney.  He or she will explain that you will need to hire a medical expert to review the records to determine if the health care providers failed to provide appropriate care that caused or contributed to the complications that you've described.  Keep in mind that there is a statute of limitations in Pa. for the filing of a medical malpractice lawsuit.
