What makes a case a wrongful death case is that the outcome from the incident you are suing for resulted in death. It is very difficult to determine whether you have a viable medical malpractice case based on the facts you supplied. Generally speaking, at a minimum, for an attorney to tell you whether you have a viable medical malpractice case they have to look at the pertinent medical records. You should contact a local attorney who does medical malpractice work to investigate this further.
