I had a umbilical hernia surgery done on August 28 2015, the surgeon mistake and cut epigastric artery during surgery,

I ended up in the nursing home for 17 days for therapy, the next day i notice that I was leaking Pus & Blood from my stomach, I lost about a litre of pus & blood, I am scared because the artery they repaired can leak & bust again if am not, careful and I can even die without knowing it's leaking, I shouldn't have to live in fear knowing this. before I had this surgery my umbilical hernia was small, I had 2 CT Scan done and it never said that my hernia was large, I believe 100% that this is a Cover up, to cover his mistake that he made saying that the hernia was large, in my medical records did not state that.
