Since my surgery on March 2,2020 the pain in my right thigh has not abated. I have had a CT and waiting to schedule an MRI. The swelling has gone down a little but it is still very hard and sensitive. The pain is excruciating and the medication I take for pain does not really help. I have had three prior surgeries on each knee and the pain has never lasted this long. I have been told by my doctor that the surgery was very long. If this is the case I wonder if the tourniquet was on for an extended time and cause this problem. I have read that this problem needs to be addressed very soon after surgery. It has been over seven months with no ease of the pain and swelling.
