I have some questions concerning medical malpractice suits

I'm in the hospital now with the condition called spinal stenosis. I've gone to the hospital 4 times prior to this Hospital stay and the issue was never addressed or investigated. I have been in this situation for over a year now and it has gotten to the point where I couldn't walk and had to have the surgery immediately. I was close to being paralyzed permanently.
