ACOG (the standard of care for OB/GYN's) has very specific guidelines for treating patients with preeclampsia.  These are based upon elevated blood pressures and proteinuria.  If the pressures and proteinuria are high enough, the patient should be hospitalized and monitored closely for danger to the mother and child.  Without this information, I cannot state whether your case has merit.   You are free to call me to discuss your case in further detail.  Nick Deets HOVDE DASSOW + DEETS, LLC Meridian Tower| 201 W. 103rd Street Suite 500| Indianapolis, IN  46290 Telephone:  (317) 818-3100| Facsimile:  (317) 818-3111 Email: ndeets@hovdelaw.com Website:  www.hovdelaw.com
