It sounds like you received negligent care, but if the third visit to the hospital resulted in the repair of the condition and you the delay in receiving the appropriate care did not cause additional harm then you probably do not have a viable malpractice case because the delay did not cause you harm.  If you want to investigate a case, you should contact a local medical malpractice attorney (one in your state).  They take these cases on a contingency basis which means you only have to pay if you succeed.  Additionally, initial consultations are usually free.
