If i had a bad sack during my pregnancy

More details to this question:
They said that my baby sack was infected and that the infection was making me go into premature labor at 23 weeks! But they didnt know what was going on and they asked me did i have a uti or other infections or how long i had it! And he passed away 6 days later after being born ! Is this a case?
