I’m curious if improper IUD(birth control) and negligence is a case?

More details to this question:
I just came back from a gynecologist appointment to get a iud insertion? To see a doctor that was not my normal came from another clinic. She took more than 10 minutes to do this insertion had me waiting she was unprepared because she told the nurse to run out an get a instrument(tool). Supposedly the iud came out of my cervix I’m in excruciating pain while she is performing she’s not telling what she is doing step by step. After I was about to leave she tells me because i had no kids the procedure is more painful. She was unprepared & unprofessional thens tells me the iud was “defective”.. the worst experience of my life I feel violated and traumatized to even think of doing that procedure again. To top it off I left with no iud because how poorly this doctor peformed so I told her to stop. I’m curious to know if this is a case?

No - discourtesy is not the basis for suing someone. Your remedy is to schedule an appointment with a specific doctor or possibly find a new one elsewhere.
